The Nippon Paint Young Designer Award (NPYDA) is organised by Nippon Paint and gives recognition to young, talented designers.

In 2011, the objective was to involve young designers and architects to implement creative and innovative green design, aimed at better living with an optimal balance of cost, environmental, social and human benefits.

This year, the NPYDA also goes regional! The Gold Winners will have the chance to compete for the regional title against competitors from across Asia. The Regional winner will walk away with cash prizes and the title of NIPPON PAINT TOP YOUNG DESIGNER OF THE YEAR 2011.
